How accurate is the vacancy data?

It comes from the Transport Department via data.gov.hk, supplied by carpark operators and refreshed every few minutes. On-site conditions may differ slightly — treat it as a guide.

Why do some carparks show "No data"?

Not every carpark publishes live vacancy; those not connected to the system show as no data.

Which vehicle types are covered?

This tool shows private-car spaces. Some carparks also publish motorcycle and goods-vehicle data.

Does "Near me" upload my location?

No. Your location is only used inside your browser to compute and sort distances — it is never sent to our servers.

What is the metered-spaces data?

The map view can show on-street metered parking spaces (private car) from the Transport Department's Smart Parking Meter System. We group them by street section and show the vacant count, counting only meters in normal operation; the data refreshes every few minutes.
